Marvel, experiment, touch, be inspired, join in, be fascinated- that’s the phenomenal world of experience available at phæno, which has been drawing in crowds young and old in Wolfsburg for more than 10 years. In the unique, futuristic building, designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid and considered to be one of the twelve most significant modern buildings in the world, 350 spectacular phenomena await. Your hair will stand on end and a 6 metre high fire tornado will take your breath away. You’ll set a ball rolling, glide down effortlessly on a flying carpet and lie like a fakir on a bed of nails. Your hands will pull threads out of luminous gas, conjure up smoke rings or search for something to grip onto in the “Crazy Salon”. Kids, adults or grandparents- there’s something for everyone at phæno. You never knew science and technology could be so exciting and fascinating.
