‘Live and breathe history’ is the motto of Schloss Wolfsburg Museum [Wolfsburg Castle Museum]. In the historical ambiance of the Remise buildings, between defence walls and timber frames, the individual histories of the castle, the city and the region can be seen in hundreds of original exhibits, from the foundation post of the Wolfsburg Castle to the complete hair salon from the 1950s. Listening stations with music and personal testimonies, interactive media and films allow for a truly personal experience of this very special city. Admission is free.
The museum is also home to documents concerning the victims of the National Socialist dictatorship and the little museum at Neuhaus Castle.
