Did you know that Wolfsburg has one of the most visited theatres in Germany? And not without reason- thanks to famous architect Hans Scharoun, who designed, among others, the building for the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Theater Wolfsburg sits in an idyllic location on the border between the urban landscape and nature on the north-eastern slope of the Klieversberg. The building rises majestically on the edge of the forest and attracts over 100,000 visitors a year with its refreshing tour programme. They come from near and far to enjoy the wonderful mix of drama, music, youth theatre and ballet.
Note: Due to renovation of the theatre, all performances are currently taking place in the neighbouring Wolfsburg Congress Park.
The theatre programme can be found on the home page.
